The Université d'Artois currently has a total of 16,000 students on 10 different campuses: Arras, Béthune, Douai, Gravelines, Lens, Liévin, Lille, Outreau, Valenciennes and Villeneuve d'Ascq.

Since January 2008, the IUFM Nord-Pas de Calais Teacher Training College has been part of Université d'Artois, to ensure the training of future teachers in the region.
