Konstfack University College of Art, Design and Craft invites artists and designers of unusual promise to join us in an international and interdisciplinary program of diverse studio practices and intense critical dialogue. Konstfack offers a relevant, creatively demanding, humanistic and practice-based research curriculum Konstfack has about 900 students. Some 1500 to 2000 applications are treated yearly of which about 100 are admitted. Konstfack also hosts 30 to 40 international students each year. Study programmes normally run for four to five years and assume fulltime studies undertaken during the day. Tuition is in Swedish. Location Konstfack is located at Telefonplan in the south of Stockholm. Ericssons old phone factory is now a center for Arts and Design studies. Wingårdhs Architects have been responsible for a considerable refurbishment and transformation from raw industrial building to University College of fine arts. The architects brief was to preserve and reinforce the listed buildings functional style. Konstfack rents almost the entire building, which means a total of 20.300 square meters.
