After getting the letter the student can then apply for visa or temporary resident permit as per the need. Students from the EU do not need a visa to enter the country. All other international students need to apply for student visa in order to study in the country. Below are the required documents for Romanian student Visa.
•Letter of Acceptance from Romanian Ministry of Education. •Visa Application form that can be downloaded or obtained from the Romanian Diplomatic Missions abroad •Proof of payment of tution fees for one academic year •A valid passport with a validity that extends the duration of course completion •Proof of sufficient funds for a list of 10 months •Birth certificate •Medical Certificate •Original all documents previously submitted for the purpose of inscription. Please note that the academic records should be either translated in English or Romanian. Students’ visa may take a minimum of two and a maximum of two months for processing. A student can apply only once and therefore it is best to apply well in advance. Students with long stay visas may apply forextension of temporary residence and obtain a residence permit. The request for the same must be filed with the Romanian Immigration Office that is within the Romanian ministry of administration and Interior. After the final inscription in the university on arrival in Romania the students have to apply for students permis. This permis is valid for duration of one year. However the students with scholarships from respective countries or the Romanian government are issued a student’s permis for the entire duration of study.
