Bachelor of Nursing, Post-Diploma Program

Description:-
Admission:- A future post-diploma student holds a diploma from the Higher Institute of Nursing in Qatar or from an institution accredited in Canada. They are able to work as a Nurse, but want to improve their practice and theory to move into leadership or graduate programs (Masters or PhD programs). They are excited about Nursing and passionate about the future of health care.
Requirements:-
* A Diploma from the Higher Institute of Nursing or a Diploma Registered in Canada
* A Grade Point Average over 2.0
* Completion of the following Grade 12 level subjects (must be approved as equivalent to Alberta Grade 12):
o English
o Math
o Biology
o Chemistry
o One Option Course
* English Language Proficiency
* Qatari Citizenship, a Qatar Resident's Permit or the ability to seek Permanent Residency through a Family member (UCQ Does NOT have the ability to issue Student Visas)
* The ability to attend classes during the day

Bachelor of Nursing, Regular Track
|
|
|
Description:-
Admission:-
Students seeking admission to the regular track program may fall into the following catagories.
* A student completing/who completed a 12-Year Primary/Secondary School program
* A student who completed the College of the North Atlantic - Qatar, Pre-Nursing program (prior to Summer 2010)
* A student attending/who has attended another accredited University or institution, studying a topic other than Nursing.
* A student who currently holds a diploma in Nursing which is not recognized by the University of Calgary.
Requirements:-
We encourage students to apply to our program to allow us to work with you in obtaining the completion of the following Grade 12 level subjects via our new Foundation Program:
* English
* Math
* Biology
* Chemistry
* One Option Course
* English Language Proficiency
* Qatari Citizenship, a Qatar Resident's Permit or the ability to seek Permanent Residency through a Family member (UCQ Does NOT have the ability to issue Student Visas)

Description:-
The communication program leads to a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communication with a major in Media Industries and Technologies. Students must complete a minimum of 32 courses for graduation that include:
* 16 courses in the major
* Liberal arts distribution requirements
* Elective courses.
