Hispanic Heritage Celebration The 2009 Hispanic Heritage Celebration, "Noche de la Familia," will be held on Friday, September 25 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the University's Alumni Hall. Home Runs for Heroes At noon on Sunday, September 27, NEIU will host Home Runs for Heroes, a 16-inch softball game at the Thillens Stadium, in loving memory of Tom Dalof. Proceeds from the event will go to scholarship support through the Tom Dalof Heroes Fund, as well as to permanently name a room after Tom in the new College of Business and Management building at NEIU.
